Sometimes you need that odd man out,
daring to speak aloud.
About the things, others are afraid to say,
or only dare to mumble in their sleep.
The odd man out, turning out to be
the caretaker of his fellow man.
Daring enough to share the forbidden fruit,
the things your not suppose to enjoy.
His coming out brings about
so many moments of acknowledgement.
So we all may dare to admit,
the things we kept secret.
Bearing in mind, we’ll leave those
fear-ridden thoughts and feelings go.
It may turn out to be quite a show,
cause deep down we all know:
He’s speaking from the heart,
giving us all a chance to clear the air.B.R. ’12
